Out of the Blue Drill Hall

Located just off Leith Walk in the heart of Leith, Out of the Blue Drill Hall is a historic arts and events venue housed in a former military drill hall built in 1901. Carefully restored and now operated by Out of the Blue Arts & Education Trust, the building functions as a vibrant creative hub supporting over 150 artists, community organisations and social enterprises. The venue offers flexible event and exhibition spaces, including the large and adaptable Main Hall, making it suitable for exhibitions, markets, performances, talks, workshops and private events.
